Priscilla is an American actress, director and instructor who originally studied performance art at Humboldt State University, Arcata, California. She later trained as an actor with the Jean Shelton Actors Lab in San Francisco.Since 1994 she has been working at the English Theatre Berlin as Workshop Coordinator. She also teaches acting, confidence training, gender specific body language, public speaking and voice coaching to students of all ages and walks of life. Additionally she teaches presentational method workshops most recently for the Charite’ Neuroscience Masters Program.
Previous to her position as Workshop Coordinator at ETB, she worked as one of the resident theatre Instructors for Schlesischestr. 27, a youth cultural center in Kreuzberg. In the past she has worked with all the major English speaking theatre companies in Berlin such as Berlin Play Actors, Detector and The Ivy Theatre Company. She also organized and hosted the first bilingual poetry slams in Berlin. At the same time she began organizing cabaret events with and for the deaf and founded Die Strolche, a deaf theatre company between 1995-96.
Currently founder and director of Berlin International Youth Theatre, she also personally enjoys acting for film and stage and a variety of voiceover work.
Priscilla is dedicated to opening the communications between the field of theatre and business and is convinced that the two areas have much to offer each other. She is wholly immersed in the exploration of these possibilities and to encouraging others to join this adventure.
