Kuba Pierzchalski

kubaKuba is a Polish actor, musician and director. Kuba trained in theatre in Poland with Teatr Osmego Dnia and worked as an actor / deviser on seven original theatre productions with acclaimed Polish Theatre company Teatr Biuro Podrozy. These performances toured internationally across six continents. Since 2005 Kuba has been a ‘Blue Man’ in the production ‘Blue Man Group’ and performed in London, Amsterdam, Oberhausen, Tokyo and since 2008, Berlin.

Since moving to Berlin in 2008, Kuba has worked regularly with ESMT (European School of Management and Technology) as an actor on several diverse MBA and management training programmes, working directly with students and professionals and providing creative opportunities to develop skills in negotiation, leadership, task coordination and motivation.

Since 2000 Kuba has worked in collaboration with Rachel Karafistan as co-director of the award-winning company, COSmino. In addition to creating innovative, devised theatre work, COSmino also has an international reputation for providing theatre-training of the highest quality. As composer, Kuba has created music for all COSmino’s performances as well as for two site-specific family-orientated performances created in collaboration with subject2change theatre and produced by Greenwich Theatre, London and the Berlin Shakespeare Company’s production of Othello. Kuba is also an accomplished workshop leader and teacher. He has ran workshops / short courses in physical theatre at the Academy of Acting in Minsk & School of Performance, Belarus; Theatre Centre MASKI & Theatre NOWY, Poznan, Poland; City College, Coventry and was Movement Teacher at the University of Leeds, UK.
